What is the Warnke Method®?
The Warnke Method® is a modern system of assessment and therapy developed by the German expert Fred Warnke, intended for people with central auditory processing disorder (CAPD). Unlike classic auditory training, it actively engages the person, which genuinely increases the effectiveness of therapy.
The assessment evaluates how the brain processes auditory, visual and motor stimuli, the functions that form the foundation of fluent reading, writing, concentration and memory. We carry it out on specialist equipment, and the result precisely indicates the areas that need training.

What we assess
Auditory, visual and motor processing across a series of tasks on specialist equipment.
Who it is for
Children from the age of 6 and adults with difficulties in learning, reading and writing.
The outcome
A written profile of strengths and deficits, plus a concrete plan for further training.
When is the assessment worth doing?
We particularly recommend a Warnke Method® assessment for people who:
- have difficulty distinguishing similar-sounding speech sounds
- show difficulties with auditory and visual analysis and synthesis of words
- dislike reading and, when reading, distort, skip or guess words
- do not read with comprehension
- write untidily, confuse, omit or transpose letters
- struggle to keep their handwriting within the lines
- write with errors despite knowing the spelling rules
- have trouble with sequential memory (times tables, poems, word sequences)
- have difficulty concentrating
- work at a very slow pace
Training on professional equipment
We work on the original Warnke® Brain-Boy equipment, tailoring the exercises to individual needs.
