What does Warnke Method® therapy involve?
The Warnke Method® is a modern, active training developed by the German expert Fred Warnke. Unlike classic auditory training, it engages the person in exercises, so the brain learns to process auditory, visual and motor stimuli more efficiently.
Therapy is systematic training carried out on specialist equipment, including the Brain-Boy device. It develops the skills that underpin reading, writing and speaking, and part of the exercises can be continued at home. We tailor the plan after an initial assessment.

How it works
Active auditory, visual and motor training that improves how stimuli are processed.
Who it is for
Children from the age of 6 and adults, including people who use hearing aids.
Brain-Boy at home
You continue part of the training on your own, which speeds up progress.
Who does Warnke Method® therapy help?
The method works well for children from the age of 6 and for adults. We recommend it for people with:
- learning difficulties

- auditory processing disorder (APD)
- difficulties with lateralisation
- speech and language difficulties (e.g. articulation)
- a need for stuttering therapy
- a need for speech rehabilitation after brain injury (e.g. after a stroke)
- a wish to improve their reading and writing
- senior age, to help slow cognitive decline and hearing deterioration

We work on the original Warnke® Brain-Boy equipment, tailoring the exercises to individual needs.
